Prices in euros, pounds and other currencies differ per store and country. The GTA+ month is a subscription that renews automatically unless you cancel it; on the PlayStation Store you need to pre-order before November 20, 2026 and claim it by March 31, 2027.
Release date and platforms
- Release date: November 19, 2026.
- Platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version.
- PC: not announced. GTA V reached PC about a year and a half after its console launch.
- Pre-load: digital pre-orders can download the game 7 days early, from around November 12.
GTA VI was first planned for fall 2025, then moved to May 26, 2026, and later to November 19, 2026. Rockstar has not confirmed the exact unlock time. Console games often unlock at midnight local time, but a single worldwide launch time is also possible; we will update this page as soon as Rockstar confirms it.
What we know about the game
GTA VI is set in the state of Leonida, Rockstar’s take on Florida, with Vice City as its main city. The story follows two leads, Lucia and Jason, a criminal duo. It is the first new Grand Theft Auto since GTA V in 2013.
